The Berwick name has a legacy hailing from both sides of the world. It is named after Berwick Hall here in Georgetown as well as the famous Berwick fountain in Cork, Ireland; from where my family orginates. Similar to the name the food has also been influenced by places around the globe. I have been fortunate enough to live in five different countries and travel fairly extensively and as such our food is influenced by many communities and cultures. If you're looking for an amazing restaurant, with fantastic and varied food and drink there's nowhere better.
It all started with my love for dessert as a kid. When you're part of a family of seven you often had to make dessert yourself if you wanted any. My interest in baking and cooking grew from that point and I've had a passion for food and drink ever since. Finally I decided it was time for me to embrace that passion and in 2016 I opened Southpaw in Georgetown South and in 2019 the Berwick opened on Georgetown's historic Main Street.
